In other words, in any situation that we encounter, that we find ourself in, it’s the realisation that the situation is always secondary.  Primary is the state of consciousness that we bring to the situation.
That is vital to know, that we live it & practice it ✨

    Yoga. I used to hear this word and think physical Yoga. I used to hear this word and think physical postures. Now I hear “yoga” and I see all of life. Not just the way I move my body. 
The term yoga has two meanings. It’s a Means and a State. The first is something you do, the various practices like postures and breathing techniques. In this context, yoga is a means to and end. It’s other meaning refers to the end. In this context, yoga describes a state, a heightened way of being. This is what all the practices and techniques of yoga are ultimately meant to lead you to, an experience where you recognise both the fullest, most essential part of yourself and the grandeur and magnificence of the life around you.
In short, yoga has less to do with what you can do with your body or with being able to still your mind than it has to do with the happiness that unfolds from realising your full potential.
Once I let go of attachment to outcomes, to achieving demanding postures, I received freedom and acceptance. I now practice, and teach, postures that embody qualities including courage, willpower, self-awareness, concentration, surrender or letting go, the empowerment that comes from overcoming resistance, and skilful action…now I practice yoga as the means to bring about the state😉

We can work where we are already strong, where we already feel good. But I know that I become more of myself when I choose to spend time in the weak spots, where I’m insecure, or filled with self doubt. If I can get more comfortable where I’m extremely uncomfortable, that’s where the magic happens ✨✨

    Trust your own medicine, and make it accessible to Trust your own medicine, and make it accessible to you first!
What does this mean? 
Trust your vibe. Trust what you have to offer. Know that it is beautiful and needed in this world. And when things get difficult, as we’ve seen in the past few years and will continue to see into the future, focus on making that medicine accessible to you first and foremost. Share it with all those around you. Know it inside and out.

    How much of your life has been organised around be How much of your life has been organised around being on your way somewhere? I love this question. It’s an automatic pause point. In practice our inquiry is an embodied one. Unless we achieve inner balance, no matter how much we know about performing in the outer world, you will fall short of your goals. Meditation is the means of achieving inner balance.
Meditation will lead you to a state of inner joy.
